The Sufferfest on the Styx adventure race will take place on April 27, 2024. The race will start at the Owens-Illinois Park. This is a stunning course that spans miles of Newnans Lake shoreline and its two major tributaries, Hatchet Creek and Little Hatchet Creek.

The area is home to a diverse range of wetlands, including depression marshes, dome swamps, and the majestic Gum Root Swamp making for strategic navigation choices.
